About

“With our thoughts, we make the world” ✨

I’m not sure where this quote came from but it’s defined the last few years of my life. Every month, I rewrite it on my calendar as a reminder that my thoughts can shape my reality. The way I perceive, interpret, and react to the world is rooted in how I think. If my thoughts are positive, I tend to experience the world as more hopeful and kind. If my thoughts are negative or fearful, the world may feel harsh or threatening.

In a spiritual context, it’s a reminder of mindfulness and intention. That inner peace, compassion, or suffering begins in the mind, and not in outside circumstances. I like this small reminder.

I’ve had many different blogs in my lifetime. I like to write and tell stories. So, this blog is a natural new transition for this phase of my life. I hope to document my stories of living in the city, travelling, adventure, lifestyle, and career ambitions. I hope you’ll choose to stay in this journey as well. As any writer knows, having other read (and enjoy) your writing is the ultimate compliment.

So, hi, I’m Marta, a 20-something-year-old business professional living in Toronto. By day, I help organizations navigate change and thrive through transformations. By night, you’ll find me chasing sunsets, journaling ideas, planning my next getaway, or exploring new hobbies. I believe in thoughtful strategy, meaningful conversations, and the quiet power of mindset – because with our thoughts, we really can shape the world.
